Metaphysia: A Metaphysical Documentary

A few weeks ago, I discovered that there was a metaphysical documentary in the works by writer/director Sean M. Fisher. There’s currently no information about the film’s release date; however, you can register to receive updates on the website. On the site, there’s also a teaser trailer, and the synopsis I’ve provided below.

The trailer looks pretty interesting. It seems to have an underlying 2012 theme, which is a topic I’m still debating about in my head. However, I’m glad to see a documentary of this variety on a subject (i.e. the metaphysical) that captivates so many of us (particularly, you and me). We’ll just have to wait and see what kind of answers Fisher finds on his journey.

Metaphysia documents the story of Writer/Director Sean M. Fisher’s journey into the metaphysical subcultures of the United States. His journey is motivated by very serious life questions, when he wakes one morning to realize that the world he once took for granted is not at all as it once seemed. He begins to ask questions which probe the very depths of our New Century predicament: a world caught in the midst of unprecedented development, filled with extreme experiences and dire circumstances. These questions drive him beyond the borders of convention into the realm of Metaphysia, the mysteriously arising culture of all things alternative and metaphysical, as he seeks for fresh answers.

What is Metaphysics? What is going on in our world today that accounts for the increasing interest in all things metaphysical, all things alternative? Is there a unique shift occurring in the consciousness of humanity at this time? Does this shift relate to ancient (and cross-cultural) prophecy?

Journeying through 9 major US cities, Mr. Fisher explores these themes, as he shakes hands with today’s leading thinkers in current metaphysical philosophy and explores the intriguing worlds of alternative and mystical experience.

As the adventure unfolds, he meets inspiring and electrifying speakers, experiences profound synchronicities, witnesses strange and uncommon events, and even encounters direct revelation itself, in the form of an overwhelming and even shockingly consistent response: the world, as we know it to be, is on the verge of major spiritual transformation; a shift, as it were, into an entirely new cosmic destiny.

But in the midst of this powerful revelation, he learns that the future of the entire human family is at stake: Is a Golden Age of Peace, Wisdom and Brotherhood upon us? Or are we in the midst of a serious world challenge, as humanity itself struggles for existence?

As Fisher passionately decodes the information, he stumbles upon the greatest discovery yet : there are indeed metaphysical forces among us and these forces come with a clear and powerful message.
